Lassiter Hall

Clinton, SC

Lassiter Hall, Phase I of a three-phased project, included a new two-story Biology wing with faculty offices, classrooms and undergraduate teaching labs.

To maintain exiting pedestrian walkways, the new wing was connected to the existing Richardson Hall by an elevated, enclosed bridge.

The future Phase II will be a mirror image of the Biology addition to house the Chemistry Department. The two new building wings, mimicing the Georgian style typical to the campus, will create a quad area to promote student interaction. The final Phase III will rehabilitate Richardson Hall and include a new HVAC system, updated restrooms, and code-compliant laboratories. The Physics and Computer Science Departments will expand into the vacated Biology and Chemistry spaces.
