Brannen Hall Renovation

Statesboro, GA

The renovation of Brannen Hall, a three-story brick and concrete building constructed in 1963 to serve as a women’s dormitory, adapted the building for use by the College of Liberal Arts and Social Science.

The building houses faculty offices, for the Department of Psychology as labs, as well as administrative offices for other departments. The project kept the exterior intact, retaining the building’s original character, while making the following renovations:

  • Abatement, demolition and reconfiguration of all interior partitions
  • Replacement of all mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems
  • Roof and window replacement
  • Life safety, accessibility upgrades and site enhancement

The project is LEED Silver certified.

In collaboration with Palmer Architects.
